ASA Foundation Wins 2024 Global E-STEM Award for Empowering Youth with Disabilities in Indonesia

11 December 2024

ASA Foundation is proud to announce that we have been selected as one of the winners of the 2024 Global E-STEM Awards, presented by Pratt & Whitney and the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE). This prestigious recognition celebrates organizations advancing environmental, science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (E-STEM) education for underrepresented students aged 11–22. This year, $250,000 in grants were awarded to 14 nonprofit organizations across 11 countries.

Through our E-STEM for Disabilities Education Development program for Indonesia, ASA Foundation empowers youth with disabilities with the tools to tackle real-world environmental challenges. Our program focuses on equipping young learners with disabilities with essential STEM knowledge and skills while fostering innovation and sustainable practices. By engaging underrepresented communities and building strong partnerships, we aim to inspire the next generation of leaders to drive impactful solutions for climate change, sustainable energy, and transportation.
