Creating Inclusive Spaces Through Sport
The AFC Dream Asia Foundation & ASA Foundation Goals for Good School Visit at SMA Negeri 59 Jakarta on 31 August 2026, bringing students together through the power of football.
A total of 66 students, including 44 girls, participated in the session with great enthusiasm and positive engagement.
Through an adapted football activity, students were encouraged to play together without separating participation based on gender. This created an opportunity for young people to interact, build teamwork, and experience sport as a shared space where everyone can participate.
Beyond the game itself, the activity aimed to challenge gender stereotypes, promote equal participation, and foster a stronger sense of inclusion among young people.
At Goals for Good, we believe sport can be a powerful vehicle for social change creating opportunities for young people to build confidence, strengthen relationships, and contribute to more inclusive communities.
Because inclusion begins when everyone has the opportunity to take part.
