What does it mean to create a better learning environment?

Sometimes, it starts with something as fundamental as access to a reliable and more sustainable source of energy.

On 11 August 2026, ASA Foundation, together with PT LAPP Kabel Indonesia and PT Atap Surya Nusantara, successfully completed the installation of solar power systems at SDN 013 Belakang Padang and SDN 05 Belakang Padang in Batam. 

Powered by LAPP PV and connectivity solution, the systems are now bringing renewable energy into the schools' everyday learning environments and helping provide a more reliable source of power.

This initiative reflects a shared commitment to improving educational facilities while encouraging the adoption of renewable energy. As schools play an important role in shaping the next generation, creating a more sustainable environment for learning is also an investment in the future.

More than installing solar power systems, this programme shows what can be achieved when different organizations come together with a shared purpose. By bringing together LAPP Indonesia's connectivity expertise and Atap Surya Nusantara's solar installation expertise, this collaboration turns shared capabilities into meaningful impact for education and the community.
