Every Child Deserves to Play. Every Child Deserves to Belong.

9 August 2026

On 8-9 August 2026, ASA Foundation, in collaboration with AFC Dream Asia Foundation, held the first Goals for Good: Foundations of Inclusive Football Training of Trainers (ToT) Workshop at BINUS School Serpong in Greater Jakarta, Indonesia.

Over 2 days, 105 teachers and coaches from mainstream and disability schools and association academies explored how football can become a more inclusive, safe and supportive space for every child.

The training covered disability and inclusion, safeguarding, psychosocial wellbeing and practical approaches to inclusive coaching — equipping educators with the confidence and skills to create more opportunities for children to play, learn, connect and grow together.

And the impact has the potential to go much further.

The participating educators are projected to collectively reach 19,220 male and female students across 76 schools and association academies, including children in both mainstream and disability-focused settings.

This is what capacity-building for inclusion can look like: empowering educators today so that more children can experience the benefits of football tomorrow.

And this is only the beginning.

With the next Goals for Good workshop scheduled for November, followed by 2 further workshops in 2027, the programme is designed to build lasting capacity and support sustainable change across participating schools.

Together, let’s make football for everyone!
